Snowberry is a small, spreading shrub common throughout much of the eastern and western US. Pink and small ornamental flowers appear in summer and are replaced by numerous white drupes which cover the shrub. Like coralberry, these drupes are not preferred by songbirds and stay on throughout a portion of the winter giving seasonal interest. A great small shrub for naturalized areas where this plant can spread.
